Chemdog is a hybrid strain that has captivated growers and enthusiasts since 1991. This legendary genetics, created by breeder Chemdog, has an intriguing origin story. Chemdog explains how it all began with what was believed to be Northern California bag seed, discovered at a Colorado Grateful Dead concert. From there, variations such as Chem 91, Chem 4, and Chem Sis were developed, each contributing their unique qualities to the Chemdog lineage. Interestingly, the name "Chemdog" was actually a combination of two monikers, "Chem" and "Dog bud." As this strain continued to be cultivated and shared by other growers and breeders, it naturally transformed into the now popular variation known as 'Chemdawg.'
